About The Position

This role is designed to bridge the gap between having access to AI tools and using them effectively across the business. The AI Transformation Coordinator will ensure AI is adopted safely, practically, and consistently, translating business needs into practical AI solutions. The position is not for a technical expert but for an effective communicator and automation enthusiast. The goal is to make good AI practices visible and repeatable, prevent redundant work, and ensure investments in AI initiatives yield tangible returns. The role also involves advising when AI is not the appropriate solution, recommending simpler alternatives like manual processes, spreadsheets, scripts, or conversations.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on fluency with current generative AI tools, including assistants, agentic workflows, and automation platforms.
  • A habit of staying current with advancements in the AI field.
  • Experience in change management, designing and delivering training or enablement that demonstrably changed how people worked.
  • Strong soft skills, including the ability to understand unfamiliar work, break down vague requests into discrete steps, and design functional workflows without being a domain expert.
  • Facilitation skills and the credibility to gain the trust of skeptics and manage the enthusiasm of proponents.
  • Excellent writing skills (AI assistance is permitted) to create guidance that is readable and understandable, including content on data safety.
  • Comfort with numbers: tracking usage and license costs, constructing credible return-on-investment analyses, and advocating for change when value is not evident.
  • Willingness to recommend against AI solutions when simpler approaches are more suitable for the business.
  • Resilience to adapt to a rapidly changing field, revising advice as needed without defensiveness.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the possibilities of AI tools, coupled with a healthy skepticism of surrounding hype.
  • A desire to help colleagues achieve self-sufficiency in using AI tools.
  • A proactive approach, working alongside teams whose processes are changing, rather than solely from a desk.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding AI questions and ideas.
  • Design and deliver targeted training, policies, guidance, workshops, and knowledge sessions tailored to various audiences and technical confidence levels, with support from HR and Admin teams.
  • Foster a network of AI champions embedded across functions to support ongoing capability building.
  • Partner with IT to ensure AI usage aligns with information security, data governance, and records requirements, and to help mitigate risks such as client confidentiality, personal data, IP, output accuracy, and appropriate human oversight.
