AI Transformation Analyst

Real Chemistry•Chicago, MA
•$90,000 - $110,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Real Chemistry is seeking an AI Transformation Analyst to help reimagine how the business operates. The analyst will join the transformation team and work across General & Administrative (G&A) functions, including finance, accounting, operations, resource management, marketing, legal, and internal communications. The role documents current-state processes and operating models, designs future-state alternatives, builds business cases, prioritizes opportunities, and helps implement AI transformation initiatives. It assesses people, processes, systems, data, and vendors to determine what to automate or redesign and which solution best fits each need—from reusable AI skills and Copilot Cowork workflows to AI agents, existing-system enhancements, or process changes without new technology. The role reports to the Vice President, Strategy and Revenue Analytics. This is a hybrid role based in any of the listed US offices—New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remote within the US, depending on team and business needs. Employees within a one-hour commute of a Real Chemistry office are expected to attend in person two days per week, either at a company office or onsite with clients. Employees without a nearby office may work remotely and attend periodic gatherings during the year. The posted pay range is $90,000–$110,000. Compensation is determined using job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The company may modify the range. Real Chemistry offers a regionally tailored benefits program and perks, including generous holiday and paid time off, options for private medical, dental, and vision plans, support for saving for the future, mental wellness coaching and support, access to more than 13,000 LinkedIn Learning classes, and office snacks in key markets.

  • Hands-on transformation experience, such as digital transformation, M&A integration, acquisitions, or divestitures, including process mapping, integration or separation planning, Day 1 readiness, or operating model design.
  • Demonstrated experience mapping current- and future-state processes and designing target operating models, ideally across G&A or back-office functions.
  • Working knowledge of AI and automation tools and ability to translate business needs into practical automation use cases.
  • Proficiency with process mapping and analysis tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Excel, or PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings clearly and confidently to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Structured problem-solving skills and a bias for action in ambiguous, cross-functional challenges.
  • Ability to assess interactions across people, processes, systems, vendors, and data.

  • Ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels and guide teams through change.
  • Curiosity about emerging AI tools, agents, and automation approaches.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Translate current-state findings into practical future-state operating models that rethink roles, responsibilities, governance, and ways of working.
  • Assess where AI and automation can eliminate, streamline, or augment manual work; build business cases and prioritize a transformation roadmap.
  • Determine the appropriate solution for each need, such as a reusable AI skill, Copilot Cowork workflow, AI agents, an existing-system enhancement, or a process change, and partner with technical teams to pilot and scale solutions.
  • Inventory and assess existing automations and tools, identify gaps and redundancies, and recommend ways to extract more value from current investments.
  • Analyze outsourced versus in-house work, assess vendor fit and cost, and identify work that should be automated or brought in-house through AI enablement.
  • Partner with function leaders to plan and execute transitions, including change management, training, communications, and success measures.
  • Develop executive-ready process maps, operating model blueprints, business cases, and roadmaps, and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
