About The Position

SAIC is seeking an AI Training Program Coordinator located at Camp Smith in Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM. The coordinator will design, develop, and implement AI-powered solutions to address organizational challenges and improve operational efficiency, while training and mentoring staff on AI tools and technologies to support effective adoption and use.

The role uses AI platforms including Claude, Gemini, CoPilot, and Palantir to provide actionable insights and improve decision-making. The coordinator collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration and optimization, stays current on emerging AI trends and technologies, and develops presentations, reports, and training materials to communicate AI strategies and outcomes. The position also develops and maintains a staff AI Training Plan so staff training keeps pace as new AI-powered technologies become available.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of related experience, or an additional four years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience with AI-powered tools and platforms, including Claude, Gemini, CoPilot, and Palantir products.
• Strong background in training and educating teams on AI technologies and their applications.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical AI solutions.
• Must have an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Must be a current U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a relevant field.
• Experience in a government or defense environment.
• Combatant Command or Four-Star Service component experience.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of data security and ethical considerations in AI applications.
