Bolt Farm Treehouse•Whitwell, TN
•$110,000 - $135,000

About The Position

Bolt Farm Treehouse is hiring an AI Systems Architect for its Strike Team, which connects technology with work across the company. The team is building an operating system to help teams identify next steps, reduce manual coordination, and make more time for thoughtful, personalized guest experiences. The AI Systems Architect will design and implement the automation and AI layer connecting workflows, tools, and teams. This hands-on architecture role includes deciding when to configure existing platforms, integrate systems, or build new solutions. Systems must work in production, support real users, handle exceptions, and be maintainable by other builders. The role will shape technical decisions across departments while remaining grounded in the operational problems each system is intended to solve.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience building production automation systems or AI pipelines.
  • Hands-on proficiency with at least three tools or frameworks such as Python, n8n, Make, Zapier, Cursor, LangChain, CrewAI, or equivalent platforms.
  • A portfolio showing architectures designed and systems implemented for real users.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing build-versus-buy decisions.
  • Experience measuring operational or financial results from deployed technical work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building ClickUp Enterprise workflows, automations, and integrations at scale.
  • Experience supporting hospitality, guest experience, or other frontline service operations.
  • Experience as a technical founder, automation lead, or hands-on technical team lead.
  • Contributions to open-source automation or AI projects.

Responsibilities

  • Map operational workflows and design maintainable integrations, automations, and AI-agent pipelines.
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy choices based on business needs, complexity, cost, and ongoing support requirements.
  • Build and deploy production systems that reduce manual work across operations, guest experience, finance, and other functions.
  • Define technical standards for testing, documentation, monitoring, and exception handling.
  • Improve reliability and resolve recurring failures in deployed workflows.
  • Measure the time saved, errors reduced, or business value created by technical work.
  • Document architecture and operating procedures so systems can be maintained without depending on one person.
  • Review other builders’ work and share practical patterns for reliable automation.
