About The Position

Watershed is seeking an AI Search & Web Lead to manage its end-to-end web infrastructure and long-term online visibility. This role is part of the Demand Generation team and involves maintaining the existing CMS, overseeing a web developer and agency, focusing on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and expanding into AI/LLM search optimization. The position requires close collaboration with Content, Product Marketing, and Design teams to manage website content, set priorities, and ensure the website aligns with the brand and product direction.

Requirements

  • A proven playbook for scaling organic growth and improving LLM visibility and citations.
  • A strong perspective on scaling and enhancing website content and functionality using AI.
  • Hands-on A/B testing experience, capable of building and running a testing program from the start.
  • Strong ability to manage external vendors and developers.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to track performance and identify what is or isn't working.
  • Deep fluency in AI tools and models, both as a growth channel and for team productivity.
  • Willingness to work from an office 4 days per week (unless the role is specifically noted as remote).

Responsibilities

  • Own organic and AI-sourced pipeline contribution, working across SEO, content infrastructure, and on-page optimization to increase inbound lead volume and quality.
  • Track and improve Watershed's visibility and citation rate in AI-generated answers (LLM rankings, AEO/GEO) by running experiments and building measurement approaches.
  • Implement and manage a rigorous A/B testing program across the website and key organic/GEO channels to enhance conversion rates, with a focus on pipeline impact.
  • Manage external vendors and developers effectively.
  • Collaborate with Content, Product Marketing, and Design teams to own website content and functionality.
  • Set priorities for website development and improvements.
  • Ensure the website accurately reflects the brand and product direction.
