About The Position

As an advanced data scientist and researcher on Booz Allen’s National Security team, the AI Researcher applies innovative artificial intelligence and machine learning methodologies to support national security missions. The role involves leading complex data exploration and analytics projects, using AI and ML expertise, statistical knowledge, and an advising mindset to help clients and stakeholders interpret data and produce actionable results. The researcher may reverse engineer models, discover model vulnerabilities, and contribute to national defense, while guiding a team in supporting missions end to end. The role also offers opportunities to develop skills and share work through peer-reviewed papers and conferences.

Requirements

• Experience with model attack vectors and techniques such as model inversion.
• Knowledge of model architecture, statistics, and object-oriented programming.
• Ability to translate mission needs and customer feedback into requirements.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with containerization technology such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Knowledge of reverse engineering or digital forensic analysis.
• Master's degree in a STEM field.
