About The Position

Support the development of architectural blueprints for new networks and enhancements to production networks. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

  • Experience with wireless communications systems through coursework, research, projects, internships, or a technical field
  • Experience using programming or technical computing tools such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB
  • Knowledge of wireless communication concepts, including RF fundamentals, modulation, OFDM, propagation, and link budgets.
  • Knowledge of 5G NR architecture and key concepts, including spectrum, numerology, radio access networks, beamforming, and 3GPP standards.
  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering by Spring or Fall 2027, or Spring or Winter 2028

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms or applications, including as applied to networking, signal processing, automation, or technical domains
  • Knowledge of wireless algorithms, communications principles, and protocols, including digital signal processing (DSP)
