About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to act as a liaison between our lines of business and technology partners. This role involves facilitating the delivery of complex business problems to be solved with automated solutions, supporting business alignment with Intelligent Automation (IA) needs, and contributing to the development of our automation analysis and design methodology. You will work directly with subject matter experts to understand business processes, translate them into user stories, and manage the backlog for automation delivery. Responsibilities also include supporting automation testing, conducting product demos, identifying and communicating risks, and driving accountability for initiatives. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension, requiring 3 days a week in our Charlotte office.

Requirements

  • Banking Experience
  • Ensure compliance with System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements
  • Strong understanding of AI, Gen-AI, Agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and orchestration platforms, with ability to translate business needs to technical requirements.
  • Experience in leading and collaborating with Engineering teams to design and implement AI, Agentic AI workflows using LangChain/LangGraph, Google Agent Space, MS CoPilot Studio, etc.
  • Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and enterprise software development.
  • Familiarity with Gen AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, BloombergGPT).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between lines of business and technology partners to deliver complex business problems solvable with automated solutions.
  • Support the business in aligning Intelligent Automation (IA) needs and usage with their technology and business strategies.
  • Support the development of the automation analysis and design methodology, including policies, procedures, tools, and artifacts, for rapid implementation aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Work with subject matter experts to comprehend business processes and translate them into user stories.
  • Create and groom the backlog for automation delivery and deployment.
  • Support automation testing and facilitate user acceptance testing.
  • Conduct product demos and provide product acceptance.
  • Identify and communicate risks and impacts, proposing risk mitigation options.
  • Provide in-depth analysis using interpretive and design thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Influence strategic functional decisions.
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies.
  • Collaborate and consult with the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Respond and collaborate with developers regarding requirements and client needs.
  • Make product/functionality/experience decisions requiring a strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Proactively notify stakeholders of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns.
