AI Product Engineer (Mid/Senior)
About The Position
Tidio is seeking an AI Product Engineer (Mid/Senior) to join their team. This role is 100% remote or hybrid from offices in Szczecin or Warsaw, Poland. Tidio is a customer service platform that integrates AI and human interaction to help businesses scale efficiently while maintaining trust. The product is a leading AI customer service solution, aiming to be the number one globally. The company is recognized for its AI agent, Lyro, which is used by millions of users worldwide. This role involves end-to-end ownership of features that clients directly interact with, from integration to the agent engine and supporting infrastructure. It requires a builder who can scope, develop, and iterate on features, often with minimal initial direction. The position is ideal for autonomous individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, embrace spec-driven development, and utilize AI tools for productivity.
Requirements
- A real technical specialization (either frontend, backend, ML or infra)
- Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript are part of the stack, but knowing one of them or another strong language is fine
- A smart, resourceful approach to leveraging AI tools for efficiency - daily, hands-on user of tools like Cursor AI, Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, or similar, practicing real spec-driven development in production
- The ability to resolve ambiguity independently and comfort in talking directly to clients and business stakeholders
- A builder mindset - preferring to ship rather than debate process
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of product impact
- A high level of autonomy and strong self-management skills
- Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment - creating process when needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience with high-volume traffic and/or enterprise clients
- Side projects that can be discussed in depth, including architecture and decisions
- Experience in one or more of the following key areas of application development: relational databases, agent development, or agent orchestration/harnesses
Responsibilities
- End-to-end feature ownership - from talking to the client, CSM, or sales team to shipping and monitoring in production
- Integrations and distribution channels for the agent
- Developing the agent itself: context engineering, tool-use optimization, prompt caching, and an evaluation module used directly by clients and CSMs
- Working across the full stack, regardless of specialization
