AI Producer / Pipeline Producer
About The Position
Subject is seeking an AI Producer / Pipeline Producer to support the production of thousands of educational videos each year while maintaining high quality and consistency. The role will refine, operate, and improve the company’s existing automated AI production process, producing polished video that meets the visual standard of its live-action work. The position combines expert ComfyUI pipeline building with hands-on production knowledge. The producer will build workflows in ComfyUI and Python, manage generation workflows using AI video engines, and oversee content from prompt systems and character consistency through quality control. The role works at the center of the AI production operation and alongside the physical production and product design teams. The position is based in the studio five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The listed start date is Q1 2027, and the base salary is $120,000–$140,000.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience across production, post-production, or technical creative work.
- Expert-level ComfyUI skills, including custom workflows, custom nodes, and fluency with underlying models and samplers.
- Working knowledge of Python sufficient to script, automate, and extend pipelines.
- Genuine physical production experience, including time on sets and understanding how shoots work.
- Motion graphics experience using After Effects or a comparable tool.
- Hands-on experience with current AI video tools such as Seedance, Luma, Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, HeyGen, or similar.
- Ability to work in a startup or fast-moving studio environment with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- A portfolio demonstrating AI work.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with lip-sync and avatar pipelines such as OmniHuman, HeyGen, Arcads, or similar.
- ffmpeg fluency and comfort with command-line media workflows.
- Voice generation experience using ElevenLabs or similar.
- LoRA training or model fine-tuning experience.
- Educational or narrative content background.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve video generation pipelines in ComfyUI, including custom nodes and Python tooling.
- Produce AI video content end to end, including prompt systems, character consistency, style bibles, negative prompt strategy, and quality control.
- Manage high-volume generation workflows involving hundreds of videos.
- Apply production discipline to AI output, including shot logic, continuity, pacing, and coverage.
- Create and integrate motion graphics to develop generated footage into finished lessons.
- Debug issues such as duration drift, model quirks, API failures, and rendering bottlenecks.
- Evaluate new models and tools and determine whether they should be incorporated into the pipeline.
- Work with the physical production team to maintain a shared visual standard across AI and live-action content.
- Partner with the product design team to deliver assets for interactive work.
