About The Position

Booz Allen is hiring a Senior AI Platform Engineer to develop user-focused AI and machine learning solutions that improve organizational efficiency and decision-making. The engineer will create and implement end-to-end solutions to modernize client systems, accounting for the broader ecosystem, operating environment, and future functionality and enhancements. The role also offers opportunities to deepen expertise in AI and cloud technologies while supporting national security systems.

Requirements

• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale production systems.
• Experience with systems integration across various technologies and platforms.
• Experience with cloud engineering in AWS.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration and deployment patterns.
• Experience implementing and scaling observability solutions, including APM, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and influencing organizational change.
• Experience assisting with development of technical policies and governance frameworks.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of software engineering experience, or 16+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AI inference technologies, including vLLM or LiteLLM.
• Experience with agentic frameworks, including LangChain.
• Experience with vector databases and embedding systems.
• Experience with high-performance computing or distributed systems.
