About The Position

The AI Platform Engineer Intern will join Docusign’s Cloud Platform and Services team, which builds and operates scalable technology and data solutions for internal and external customers. The intern will help unlock AI capabilities in foundational platforms and contribute to AI solutions that improve employee and developer experience. Work includes researching and implementing AI-driven search functionality, optimizing data retrieval, and collaborating with teams to identify ways AI can improve employee engagement and productivity. The internship lasts 9.5 months and is an individual contributor position reporting to the Director, DevOps Engineering. The role is hybrid, with at least two days per week in an office location.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Be graduating in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
• Have experience with large language models (LLMs), artificial intelligence, and machine learning concepts.
• Have experience with programming languages such as Python.
• Be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without current or future sponsorship; this role is not eligible for CPT, OPT, or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Engage in training opportunities to learn about employee experience and AI technologies and tools.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and insights related to AI and employee experience.
• Stay updated on AI/ML technologies and trends to research innovative tools that enhance employee experience and align with the voice of the customer.
• Research and implement AI-driven search functionalities and optimize data retrieval processes.
• Collaborate with teams to identify ways to use AI to improve employee engagement and productivity.
