About The Position

Box is building for the next wave of AI-native companies and wants to make Box the platform they know, trust, and build on. This role will help expand Box’s presence in the AI ecosystem by identifying high-growth partners, shaping technical partnerships, and helping external builders understand how to build with Box in the right way. You’ll help ensure the most prominent AI companies know Box, integrate with Box, and grow with Box as part of their product strategy. Box lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week. Requirements

  • We are an AI-first company. This means you approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to help make faster, smarter decisions that will 10X your impact at Box.
  • A versatile, externally facing partnerships leader who is already plugged into the AI ecosystem.
  • Comfortable engaging technical founders, product leaders, developers, and emerging AI companies.
  • Able to operate at the intersection of partnerships, product thinking, and technical solutioning.
  • Familiar with AI tools, frameworks, platforms, and ecosystems, with enough technical fluency to credibly guide partners.
  • Likely to come from a background in partnerships, platform / product extensibility, or developer relations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and grow AI partners for Box.
  • Build relationships with high-growth AI startups, founders, and developer communities.
  • Serve as an internal partner across business development, product, engineering, marketing, and developer relations.
  • Help partners understand how to build on and integrate with Box, including the right technical approach for their product and use case.
  • Design new solutions and create partnership opportunities that drive adoption and ubiquity of Box.
  • Represent Box in the AI partner ecosystem through meetups, events, webinars, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing to amplify partner stories and increase awareness of Box in the AI market.
  • Act as one of the more technical members of the business development team, bridging partner needs with product and platform possibilities.
