About The Position

Hypothesis is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AI Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the key human component in our mission to reimagine human-AI interaction. You will work directly with our AI Operator, which controls complex biological systems, ensuring its reliability, precision, and speed. This is a unique opportunity for a technically-minded individual to be at the forefront of human-AI collaboration, managing and optimizing the interface between our groundbreaking AI and critical scientific workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., Biotechnology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline).
• Experience in a role involving the management or monitoring of complex, automated systems.
• Strong analytical skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of the AI Operator in real-time to ensure all automated processes are executing as intended.
• Manage and schedule tasks for the AI Operator, coordinating with scientific teams to align AI activities with research goals.
• Act as the first line of defense for system anomalies. Diagnose and resolve issues or unusual events flagged by the AI, escalating complex technical problems to engineering teams.
• Analyze data generated by the AI's operations to provide crucial feedback for software and model improvements.
• Create and maintain clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for all AI-driven processes.
