About The Position
This role focuses on designing and implementing risk and control frameworks for AI/ML systems, particularly in the context of agentic AI adoption. The architect will be responsible for creating continuous monitoring frameworks, defining minimum viable guardrails and controls, providing technical reviews of vendor AI architectures, and maintaining technical documentation.

- Familiarity with bank technology risk and model validation standards
Responsibilities
- Designs the continuous monitoring framework: metrics, drift/performance thresholds, alerting cadence, replacing the annual point-in-time review.
- Defines the minimum viable guardrails and controls framework for agentic AI adoption (workstream 4): access controls, action boundaries, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, logging/auditability.
- Provides technical review of vendor AI architecture (model hosting, data flow, embedded-AI risk), working alongside the Regulatory SME's contract review.
- Maintains technical documentation and evidence for the monitoring and guardrails deliverables.
