About The Position

The AI/ML Engineering Lead will lead and manage an AI/ML engineering team, particularly within an AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) work model. The role focuses on AI/ML engineering, AI platform delivery, and implementing enterprise AI solutions. It requires a strong understanding of AIDLC frameworks and AI governance, with experience in responsible AI, model risk management, and regulatory compliance. The position is based in Minnesota City, Minnesota, and is hybrid. The engagement duration is six months, and a face-to-face interview is required for the second round.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in the AI/ML space; the description also states 6–8 years of working experience within AI/ML.
• At least 4 years of experience leading, managing, and coaching an AI/ML engineering team.
• Strong experience in AI/ML engineering, AI platform delivery, and enterprise AI solution implementation.
• Deep understanding of the AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) and AIDLC frameworks, including Spec Kit, BMAD, and Spectra.
• Expertise in AI governance frameworks.
• Experience with responsible AI, model risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in AI/ML, cloud, data engineering, or Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Experience leading enterprise AI transformation or platform modernization initiatives.
