About The Position

Join our team as an Expert Geospatial AI/ML Engineer! You will get to use your computational and technical skills in data science, in conjunction with your expertise applying efficient and effective AI/ML models; meaningful exploitation and analysis; and rapidly integrate and leverage new sources, methods and technology that account for non- technical end users in support of informed resource allocation and optimization, actionable insight, and meaningful anticipation and influence. Your expertise with advanced tools and computational analytics will be critical to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in complex data in support of actionable intelligence executed by America’s most elite forces.

Requirements

  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field (Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or Data Science) and 8 years of experience with data analytics methodology supporting the DoD or IC
  • Typically, 12 years of progressive related experience in lieu of a degree is accepted
  • Experience with AI/ML methods in support of a customer; developing, optimizing and integrating geospatial AI/ML models in support of the DoD or IC.
  • Experience in development and implementation of at least one of the following: computational modeling, statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, and/or data analytics in support of customer business cases
  • Experience assessing and developing analytical methodologies to enhance customer’s analysis process/ products
  • Experience implementing at least one of the following machine learning algorithms, data mining, and statistical algorithms for pattern recognition and the development of predictive models
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of effectively leading projects
  • Obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification per DOD 8570.01

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field
  • Strong understanding of utilizing geospatial data for predictive analysis.
  • Experience providing data science support to Intelligence analysis
  • Experience with a wide range of databases and dynamic data sources is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to solve the most critical operational problems involving data analytics in support of operational forces.
  • Use experience and understanding of data analytics, machine learning, algorithm development, and data clustering to support predictive and prescriptive intelligence insights crucial to building actionable intelligence that will be utilized to protect and defend U.S. interests.
  • Use experience and understanding of AI/ML engineering methodologies to develop strategies, plans, and programs in anticipation of current and future operational missions.
  • Deploy AI/ML capabilities using multiple technological and computational methodologies, to provide insight and understanding of the operational environment or point of interest.
