About The Position

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an AI LLM SME Portfolio Intake Project Manager to support KITS and a government customer in Arlington, Virginia. The role supports enterprise cybersecurity modernization and Zero Trust initiatives within a senior Department of War executive organization. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in cybersecurity architecture, Zero Trust implementation, risk management, and enterprise integration. The position evaluates cybersecurity modernization requirements and proposed technical solutions, and supports prioritizing and executing initiatives intended to improve enterprise security posture and mission resilience. It requires broad knowledge of DoW cybersecurity environments, Zero Trust principles, and the technical and organizational challenges of implementing cybersecurity capabilities across large enterprises. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or access is required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
10 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, enterprise security architecture, technical consulting, or cybersecurity program management.
Demonstrated experience supporting Zero Trust architecture or cybersecurity modernization initiatives.
Strong understanding of identity and access management, network security, endpoint protection, and data security.
Familiarity with DoW Zero Trust guidance and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
Experience with RMF, security control assessment, and federal cybersecurity authorization processes.
Experience coordinating complex cybersecurity initiatives across multiple organizations.
Strong technical writing and executive communication skills.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or access.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or comparable cybersecurity certification.
Experience supporting DoW CIO, DISA, USCYBERCOM, or military service cybersecurity organizations.
Familiarity with DoW Zero Trust target-level requirements and implementation planning.
Experience with ICAM, policy-based access control, data tagging, and continuous authorization concepts.
Experience supporting cybersecurity modernization within classified enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Manage intake and technical assessment of enterprise cybersecurity and Zero Trust modernization initiatives.
Evaluate cybersecurity capabilities against mission requirements, enterprise architecture, and applicable DoW Zero Trust guidance.
Assess technical solutions involving identity, credential and access management, endpoint security, network segmentation, application security, data protection, visibility, and automation.
Support Zero Trust architecture planning and implementation roadmaps.
Identify technical dependencies, integration challenges, and operational risks.
Coordinate with cybersecurity engineers, enterprise architects, authorizing officials, and mission stakeholders.
Support technical assessments of cybersecurity tools, platforms, and proposed capabilities.
Evaluate opportunities to automate cybersecurity processes and improve enterprise security effectiveness.
Assess proposed capabilities for interoperability, scalability, security, and operational suitability.
Support development of technical requirements, implementation plans, and pilot evaluation criteria.
Prepare executive-level cybersecurity assessments and decision-support materials.
Track cybersecurity initiatives through assessment, pilot execution, enterprise integration, and operational transition.
