About The Position

Frontage Laboratories Inc. is an award-winning, publicly listed (HKSE), full-service CRO/Contract Research Organization operating over 25 state-of-the-art laboratories across the US, Canada and China, and growing over 30% YOY. Our core competencies include drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, and core laboratory services for clinical trials. This is a full-time/temporary position for an AI Intern/Application Specialist, working 40 hours per week with an initial duration of 2-3 months, and potential extension up to 6 months.

Requirements

• Understanding of general AI technology, AI models, machine learning.
• General AI tools experience such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science - Ongoing

Responsibilities

• Research the AI industry to identify trends and directions.
• Learn how the life science industry is using AI technology to accelerate drug development.
• Evaluate various general and specialized AI models to propose the best AI models for the life science industry, CRO business, and use cases.
• Research the regulatory requirements and directions on AI application development, especially in the life science industry.
• Work with AI specialists to collect and document use cases.
• Track AI project milestones, progress, and facilitate user communication.
• Facilitate general AI tools trainings, demonstrations, and gather user feedback such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Deepseek.
• Use AI coding tools to assist in developing AI solutions as directed by the supervisor.
• Other tasks as assigned.
