AI & Innovation Security Director

ABM US•Dunwoody, GA
•$176,505 - $260,000

About The Position

The AI Security Enablement Director reports directly to the SVP & CISO and will build and lead ABM’s enterprise AI security strategy. The role embeds security across artificial intelligence, machine learning, and agentic AI throughout the business, including AI security tooling, internal AI/ML development, and third-party AI products and vendors. The director will design and champion the guardrails, governance, and technical controls that enable adoption of AI and agentic AI while protecting ABM, its customers, and employees from emerging risks. The role has direct people-leadership responsibility for building and developing a team of approximately three AI/ML security specialists. It also requires matrix leadership across engineers, developers, data scientists, and vendor teams, as well as program and stakeholder management for multiple concurrent security-enablement initiatives. The director will coordinate initiatives through completion and communicate progress to technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. The position requires hands-on depth in traditional cybersecurity and modern AI security, including LLMs, generative AI, and agentic AI architectures in which autonomous or semi-autonomous agents take actions, call tools, and access systems and data. The director will establish partnerships across Security, Engineering, Data Science and AI/ML teams, Legal, Risk, Privacy, and Operations.
