About The Position

Maki builds AI agents that help large companies hire faster and better, supporting recruitment activities from screening to assessment and candidate engagement. The company has offices in Paris and London and is accelerating its presence in New York.

The AI Implementation Intern joins the US-based Implementation team, collaborates across the Americas, and works alongside Implementation Managers and Forward Deployed Engineers. The team helps enterprise clients onboard and use Maki effectively, delivering the promised impact through large-scale project and change management carried out with clients.

The intern supports Implementation Managers and Forward Deployed Engineers with operational tasks and contributes to live client projects across the customer journey, with a focus on configuration, testing, and cross-team collaboration. The position offers real responsibility and close mentorship from day one.

Requirements

• Sharp attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and investigate their causes.
• Excellent spoken and written English, with clear, concise communication adaptable to colleagues and clients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities change quickly.
• Ownership and willingness to take responsibility for outcomes and go beyond what is asked.
• Analytical thinking, including the ability to identify patterns in test results, summarize findings, and recommend next steps.
• Strong project organization, including managing multiple workstreams with clear trackers and timely follow-ups.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Speaking more than one language.
• Experience with ClickUp, Lovable, Cursor, or Linear, or the ability to pick up new tools quickly.
• Some coding experience or experience building something with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support client implementations by helping define candidate journeys, monitoring impact, and ensuring smooth onboarding.
• Configure Maki’s AI agents to match client needs and hiring processes.
• Run structured testing loops on AI agents, analyze results, and iterate with Implementation Managers and Forward Deployed Engineers until the agents perform as intended.
• Collaborate with Maki’s Science, Tech, Ops, and Customer Success teams to align configuration with client needs.
• Design and refine processes for efficiently monitoring implementations using ClickUp, Maki’s internal Implementation and Success tool.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives supporting large-scale projects and change management for enterprise clients.
