Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience in technology governance, risk management, or compliance roles.
  • At least two (2) years specifically focused on AI or advanced analytics governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing technology policy and governance frameworks in Federal government organizations with more than 2,000 employees.
  • Proven track record in managing the operational aspects of an enterprise-level technology program, including performance monitoring, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Demonstrated skills in delivering excellent presentation, visualization, and report writing.
  • Demonstrated experience with communication and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience implementing relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Risk Management, NIST AI Risk Management) and industry standards to technology programs and products in Federal government or financial services industry.
  • Experience utilizing process improvement methodologies (e.g., Capability Maturity Model, Six Sigma, agile, etc.).
  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Law.
  • Professional certifications in IT governance (e.g., CGEIT, CRISC), AI ethics, or related fields.
  • Additional certifications or training in AI/ML technologies, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing AI policy and AI governance frameworks in large organizations, preferably in government or highly regulated industries.
  • Proven track record in managing the operational aspects of an enterprise AI program.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing technology policy and governance frameworks in Federal government organizations.
  • Managing the operational aspects of an enterprise-level technology program, including performance monitoring, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Delivering excellent presentation, visualization, and report writing.
  • Communication and stakeholder management.
  • Balancing innovation with risk management.
