About The Position
Viridien is seeking highly motivated problem solvers for an AI Full Stack Engineering internship. Interns will work on in-house AI applications specifically built for Geoscience users. This role involves building and deploying cross-platform mobile apps, developing scalable backend REST APIs, testing applications, integrating frontends with databases and AI/ML services, and accelerating development using AI coding assistants.
Requirements
- Completed 1.5+ years of a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or AI.
- Proficient in mobile app design (React Native/Expo) and backend development (Node.js).
- Capable of utilizing Claude Code or similar AI coding tools effectively.
- Must relocate to Houston, TX for the 3-month duration.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of professional experience building mobile apps.
- Background or coursework in Machine Learning and AI.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy cross-platform mobile apps using React Native and Expo.
- Develop scalable backend REST APIs with Node.js.
- Test applications, gather user feedback, and rapidly resolve issues.
- Integrate mobile frontends with backend databases and AI/ML services.
- Accelerate development using AI coding assistants like Claude Code or similar tools.
