About The Position

We are seeking a curious and driven Summer Intern to join our AI Engineering team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world AI initiatives that support advisor workflows and operational processes within a leading wealth management firm. As part of a small, high-impact team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of AI Strategy and partner with Application Engineering and Data Engineering teams to design, prototype, and refine AI-powered solutions. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with leading large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) while helping bring innovative use cases to life based on real business needs. This role is ideal for students interested in applied AI, as you’ll contribute to multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure to emerging approaches, including the shift toward more advanced, agent-based systems. You’ll also see firsthand how AI is transforming the wealth management industry, particularly in supporting ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Resourceful, proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the AI Engineering team in building and enhancing internal AI tools that improve advisor workflows and operational processes
  • Collaborate with the Head of AI Strategy and cross-functional teams, including Application Engineering and Data Engineering, on firm-wide AI initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of AI-powered solutions using leading large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
  • Assist in prototyping and iterating on AI use cases based on real business needs provided by stakeholders across the firm
  • Help test, evaluate, and refine AI outputs to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with business objectives
  • Gain exposure to emerging approaches in AI development, including the transition toward more advanced, agent-based systems
  • Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly as priorities and initiatives evolve
  • Support documentation, organization, and communication of AI solutions and project progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Learn how AI is applied in a real-world wealth management context, particularly in supporting ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients and internal teams
  • Participate in intern programming including lunch & learns and networking opportunities
