About The Position

Xsolla is committed to becoming an AI-first company and is offering AI Engineer Internships globally to drive this transformation. Interns will work on internal AI initiatives to accelerate AI tooling and integrations across Xsolla, and build proof-of-concept applications using Xsolla's APIs to demonstrate the potential of AI-integrated workflows. This is a hands-on role where interns will ship code that reaches real users, working closely with senior engineers and a global cohort of fellow interns. The internship focuses on building and integrating AI into development processes, rather than a passive observation experience.

Requirements

Genuine passion for building, demonstrated through side projects, hackathon entries, or open-source contributions.
Real AI fluency, with experience using agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to build something.
Ability to explain how AI was used in a project and how its effectiveness was confirmed.
Bias toward action, starting to build before requesting detailed specifications for ambiguous problems.
Comfort with developing modern full-stack solutions.
Open to current undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates of a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program.
Willingness for graduate students to take on an internship-level role for hands-on AI experience.

Responsibilities

Partner and collaborate with senior engineers to identify and implement AI tooling and integrations that reduce friction.
Build applications and integrations on top of Xsolla's APIs and SDKs to demonstrate AI-assisted development for internal teams.
Ship work that reaches real users, whether internal tools or customer-facing integrations.
Utilize agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) as a primary method of work.
Participate in weekly lightning-talk demos to showcase AI-driven solutions.
Work with minimal process, taking ownership of figuring out and building solutions with guidance from a mentor.
Learn from and collaborate with senior engineers on production-grade practices and with fellow interns across markets.
