About The Position

Legends Global is seeking an AI Execution & Prototyping Analyst to build interactive web applications and data visualizations using AI tools like Anthropic's Claude ecosystem. This role is distinct from traditional BI analysis, focusing on rapid prototyping and development of AI-assisted software to bridge the gap between raw data and decision-makers. The analyst will transform stakeholder questions into working, interactive tools, potentially evolving them into production-grade internal applications. This is a hands-on, builder-oriented position requiring a blend of product engineering and data storytelling skills.

Requirements

Experience building data visualizations or internal tools, with a strong preference for writing real code over exclusively using point-and-click BI platforms.
Hands-on experience with, or strong aptitude for, agentic coding tools like Claude Code, including directing AI coding agents, critically reviewing output, and iterating quickly.
Solid JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end fundamentals (React or similar).
Comfortable with charting/visualization libraries (D3, Recharts, Plotly, Chart.js).
Working SQL skills and comfort pulling and shaping data from APIs or databases.
Understanding of version control (Git) and basic deployment workflows (e.g., Vercel, Netlify, internal hosting).
UX/UI sensibility with an eye for clear data storytelling and clean interface design.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Python for data wrangling and analysis (Pandas, etc.).
Prior experience migrating a team off legacy BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) toward custom-built tooling.
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or connecting AI tools to external systems/APIs.
Experience with Claude's broader product suite (Artifacts, Claude API, Claude in Chrome) or similar AI-assisted development environments.

Responsibilities

Rapidly prototype interactive data visualizations and internal web apps using Claude Code, iterating with stakeholders.
Translate ambiguous business questions into working visual tools without relying on formal BI development cycles.
Develop validated prototypes into production-quality web applications, including data pipelines, authentication, hosting, and performance.
Connect visualizations to live data sources (databases, APIs, internal tools) using MCP integrations.
Manage the full lifecycle of visualization products: scoping, building, deploying, gathering feedback, and iterating.
Write clean, maintainable front-end code (JavaScript/TypeScript, React) with AI assistance.
Establish reusable patterns, components, and internal libraries for faster future prototyping.
Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data accuracy, governance, and reliability.
Train other analysts on AI-assisted, code-first visualization workflows.
