About The Position

T-Mobile is offering an 11-week paid learning experience for an AI Engineering Intern. The intern will work on production-grade, AI-native solutions with senior AI engineers, taking part in real projects and learning alongside experienced employees and mentors. The team develops solutions for customer churn retention, cross-selling and upselling, revenue generation, and IT-related problems. Its work supports customer care, retail, and marketing initiatives, and the company states that these solutions generate more than $100 million in incremental revenue annually.

The intern will contribute to the development, deployment, integration, and maintenance of AI solutions, with a focus on large language models. The program provides hands-on experience, training, mentorship, and opportunities to collaborate with interns, leaders, and technical teams.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
• Must have at least one course remaining in a bachelor's or graduate degree program after the internship.
• Enrollment in a relevant undergraduate program is a minimum requirement.

Nice To Haves

• Enrollment in a master's program.
• Relevant certifications and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements for AI-native solutions.
• Process data for AI model development.
• Develop and evaluate models, primarily large language models (LLMs).
• Deploy and integrate AI solutions.
• Maintain production-grade AI-native solutions.
