Optimum United, a multi-state dealership holding company is seeking a dynamic AI Engineer to design, build, and scale intelligent automation solutions using generative AI technologies. This role is critical to driving innovation across our organization by leveraging AI to enhance the customer experience and optimize business processes and decision-making capabilities. The person in this role will be at the forefront of AI innovation, creating solutions that drive measurable business impact while shaping the future of work in our organization. This role can be hybrid or in-person.

Requirements

Experience in AI/ML engineering, automation, or solutions architecture
Proven experience with generative AI tools (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases)
Excellent-level programming skills
Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with production deployment experience
Strong system design skills for scalable architectures and integrations
API development and microservices experience

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end generative AI solutions that automate complex business workflows
Architect scalable AI systems integrating LLMs, APIs, and enterprise platforms
Develop production-ready automation solutions using modern AI/ML frameworks
Partner with business leaders to identify high-value AI automation opportunities
Transform business requirements into robust technical architectures
Drive measurable efficiency gains and smarter decision-making across teams
Optimize model performance through advanced prompt engineering and fine-tuning
Ensure enterprise-grade security, compliance, and data governance
Implement MLOps best practices for reliable, scalable deployments
Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies for strategic adoption
