About The Position

Kanu AI is your AI Cloud Engineer - plugging directly into enterprise cloud accounts to build, test, and deploy production-ready app + infra code with full compliance and security. We help engineering teams turn 6-month projects into 2-week builds, eliminating costly system integrators and accelerating enterprise roadmaps. We’re working with enterprise customers, including Fortune 500 companies, to make AI-powered cloud engineering the default for every organization. We’re hiring an AI Engineer to build on the Kanu AI core product. You’ll work across the stack - backend, AI, and cloud automation - and collaborate closely with the team to deliver secure, scalable, and elegant solutions. You’ll play a hands-on role shaping our engineering culture and shipping high-impact features that move directly into production environments.

Requirements

2+ years (excluding internships) building production-grade full-stack applications
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment
Communicate clearly and collaborate across teams with a bias toward action
Familiarity with agent frameworks

Nice To Haves

Experience building AI-driven or developer-tooling products
Cloud certifications (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain full-stack features (backend APIs, evals, LLM integration/optimization, cloud integrations)
Collaborate with product and GTM teams to deliver enterprise-ready experiences
Ship quickly and iterate rapidly based on customer feedback
Improve reliability, performance, and testing coverage across the platform
