About The Position

Micron Technology is seeking an AI Engineer, People Technology to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that transform work across the People Organization. This role blends software engineering, AI development, and HR domain expertise to create intelligent applications, automations, and agents that enhance employee experiences, boost operational efficiency, and accelerate workforce transformation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder experienced with AI Assisted Software Development Platforms for enterprise AI solutions, and has a track record of deploying AI agents that collaborate across multiple platforms and systems while adhering to enterprise governance, security, and compliance standards. A deep understanding of HR technologies like Workday, ServiceNow, and the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem, coupled with a passion for using AI to solve complex business challenges, is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of software development/solution engineering experience.
• 3+ years building AI, machine learning, generative AI, intelligent automation, and agentic AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Advanced expertise with AI coding tools, Python, APIs, enterprise integrations, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern AI architectures.
• Proven experience building and deploying enterprise AI agents that operate across multiple business platforms and technology ecosystems.
• Expertise in multi-agent architectures, agent orchestration, tool calling, workflow automation, RAG, knowledge retrieval, and AI reasoning systems.
• Hands-on experience supporting HR, People Operations, and workforce transformation initiatives, with expertise in Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, and end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience implementing and scaling AI solutions within large global enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Employee Workflows, AI capabilities, and enterprise knowledge management solutions.
• Expertise in Azure cloud-native architectures, including vector databases, semantic search, and RAG frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software engineering methodologies.
• Track record of building AI products using agile delivery models and product management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered products, applications, and intelligent workflow solutions.
• Apply AI Assisted Development Tools to accelerate software development, solution building, and deployment activities.
• Support authorities in translating business needs into developed solutions and prototypes.
• Develop reusable frameworks, services, and components (such as AI Skills) that enable scalable AI adoption across the People Organization.
• Design and build AI agents capable of making business-context-aware decisions, taking actions across enterprise systems and workflows, and operating autonomously within defined guardrails.
• Develop multi-agent systems that coordinate work across functions and platforms.
• Implement agent orchestration, memory, tool integration, and workflow management capabilities.
• Build AI solutions that integrate and collaborate across multiple enterprise platforms.
• Develop integrations utilizing APIs, event-driven architectures, and enterprise services.
• Enable seamless interactions between agents, data sources, and systems to automate end-to-end business processes.
• Create solutions that leverage enterprise knowledge, workflows, and operational data securely and responsibly.
• Partner with leaders, process owners, and technology teams to identify AI transformation opportunities.
• Apply HR domain knowledge to improve recruiting, onboarding, learning, employee services, talent management, workforce planning, and people analytics processes.
• Drive innovation by rapidly prototyping, testing, and scaling AI solutions that create measurable business value.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards for security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI.
• Implement monitoring, observability, testing, and evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
• Support the development of AI governance standards, best practices, and development guidelines.
