AI Engineer Intern
About The Position
The Summer Internship Program at Klaviyo is an 11-week paid experience at our Boston, MA headquarters, running from June 1 to August 13. Interns are expected to be in the office five days a week. Offers are team-agnostic, with interns being placed on a team approximately 30 days into the program. Placement can be on full-stack, back-end, or front-end teams within any of the engineering pillars. Prior to joining individual teams, all interns participate in Klaviyo Base Camp, an onboarding experience designed to familiarize them with Klaviyo, its product, and the daily operations of the engineering department, as well as to foster connections with other interns. Upon joining their teams, interns will immediately begin working on real project assignments. Klaviyo's Boston office offers a vibrant and enjoyable work environment, providing complimentary lunch five days a week, along with free snacks and drinks. Recreational facilities include ping pong, a Nintendo Switch, a golf simulator, and a speakeasy for relaxation. Throughout the summer, interns will engage in social events beyond their team and project work, such as attending a Red Sox game, a Boston Harbor Cruise, outings to Kings and Versus, ice cream socials, and Ask Me Anything sessions with Klaviyo's senior leadership.
Requirements
- AI fluency at Klaviyo includes responsible use of AI (including privacy, security, bias awareness, and human-in-the-loop).
- Must be able to attend the internship program in Boston, MA from June 1 – August 13.
- Interns are in office 5 days a week.
