•$150,000 - $200,000•Remote

About The Position

Blue Rose Research is hiring a Policy Fellow to help design a concrete economic policy agenda for how the country should respond as AI changes jobs, wages, and the economy. The fellow will develop the plan’s policy substance by identifying key choices, creating realistic options, and working through trade-offs with the research team. The role reports to the Director of External Affairs and works closely with data scientists and survey researchers. Public opinion research will inform the plan, and its proposals will be specific enough to test with voters. The position is suited to someone with deep economic policy expertise, government experience, and an understanding of political feasibility. The role includes developing the plan from initial framework through final proposals; researching and drafting policy options and materials; collaborating with researchers to test and refine proposals; consulting policy experts and government officials; and briefing Blue Rose leadership and partners. The role is flexible in format, with compensation dependent on role, duration, and experience. Blue Rose is a remote team with offices in New York City and Washington, DC. The role involves frequent in-person meetings and regular travel between San Francisco and Washington, DC, with a strong preference for candidates based in one of those cities.
