AI & Data Architect
About The Position
This role is for an AI & Data Architect who will be responsible for understanding the company's data, building a unified knowledge layer with enterprise search, clean governance, and secure permissions. The roadmap includes developing AI copilots for investment and operations teams, and eventually an agent-first operating model. The 24-month outcome includes enterprise search across firm knowledge, a trusted data layer connecting core systems, AI copilots deployed to business teams, and a significant reduction in manual workflows. The architect will translate this vision into architecture and then build it.
Requirements
- Genuinely excellent with a track record of building production-grade systems, not just prototypes.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms.
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Copilot Studio, or equivalent).
- Understanding of data governance, identity management, and permissions in an enterprise environment.
- Ability to operate independently.

Responsibilities
- Understand the company's data, including its location, meaning, and movement across various systems (Microsoft 365, HubSpot, underwriting files, loan documents, emails, market research).
