About The Position

FuntoNetwork is seeking an AI Current State / Readiness Assessment Analyst for an active RFP opportunity with Pinellas County. This role involves developing an enterprise-wide Artificial Intelligence strategic roadmap and governance framework. The scope includes assessing current-state readiness, establishing governance structures, creating a responsible-use policy, identifying use cases, performing ROI analysis, managing workforce change, defining vendor/procurement strategies, and outlining a three-to-five-year implementation roadmap.

Requirements

• Relevant experience for this RFP-based role.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work against proposal deadlines and client requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured submission requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting public-sector, enterprise, or consulting projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess technology infrastructure, cloud/on-prem/hybrid environments, identity, integrations, APIs, cybersecurity maturity, data governance posture, procurement processes, workforce capabilities, system inventories, and current automation or analytics initiatives.
• Review the RFP scope, source posting, supporting documents, deadline, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with FuntoNetwork and related consultants to support a complete, professional response.
• Prepare documentation, analysis, recommendations, deliverables, or technical inputs related to this role.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders as needed.
• Support quality control, status updates, and final submission readiness.
