About The Position

Join an industry-leading enterprise as a Senior AI Business Systems Analyst, advancing AI, API, and integration initiatives. In this hybrid role, you will work remotely and collaborate on site in Charlotte, NC, 2–4 times per month. As a business-technology liaison, you will translate strategic business needs into scalable, AI-enabled technical solutions and support digital transformation across the organization.

Requirements

• At least 7 years as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or in a closely related role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
• Proficiency with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and related telemetry tools.
• Strong technical understanding of RAG/AI platforms and REST APIs.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards and SQL for reporting and analytics.
• Strong requirements-gathering, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to AI-enabled applications or products.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry or cloud-based AI services.
• Experience defining requirements for Power BI analytics.
• Background in software development or engineering.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA.
• Experience with cloud platforms, automation, enterprise integration, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, technical, and operational requirements for complex AI and integration projects.
• Facilitate discussions among business stakeholders, product teams, and developers to ensure alignment and support informed decision-making.
• Translate business objectives into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and implementation-ready requirements.
• Support enterprise API and integration initiatives using Azure API Management.
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and scalability.
• Maintain reusable product templates and promote process improvements over custom, one-off solutions.
• Partner with product owners, architects, and developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Oversee testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), release readiness, and change management activities.
• Use Application Insights and Azure monitoring tools to analyze application usage, operational trends, and business impact.
• Define requirements for Power BI dashboards and deliver actionable operational reporting.
