About The Position

Low Tide is seeking an AI Business Analyst to drive practical, operational improvements using applied AI and automation. This role, reporting to the Director of IT, focuses on identifying real business process opportunities, evaluating where AI-enabled tools can deliver measurable value. The AI Business Analyst will work directly with stakeholders to embed those solutions into operations, owning those initiatives from idea through implementation to sustained adoption. This role suits someone who enjoys driving execution in a busy operating environment; following through, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring progress continues even when priorities shift.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Consulting, or a related role.
  • Hands on exposure to AI enabled tools, automation platforms, and advanced analytics in a business context.
  • Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and solution documentation.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Comfort working with data, metrics, and operational reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing AI or automation solutions beyond proof-of-concept.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, or low-code / no-code automation tools.
  • Experience with AI orchestration or workflow toolchain solutions
  • Experience working with operating teams in asset management, property management, finance, or similar operational environments.
  • Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, Lean, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for AI, automation, and analytics across business functions.
  • Assess potential use cases for feasibility, readiness, and value, considering people, process, data quality, and change impact.
  • Lead internal training and upskilling of AI knowledge and use cases.
  • Develop clear business cases outlining expected benefits, costs, risks, and implementation considerations.
  • Support proof of concept efforts and early implementations, with a strong focus on moving from pilot to production use.
  • Communicate AI capabilities, limitations, and trade offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand current-state processes, pain points, and constraints.
  • Document current-state and future-state workflows, data flows, and system interactions.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements suitable for delivery.
  • Design, build, and deploy lightweight AI-powered tools, skills and workflow automations tailored to departmental needs.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs to measure adoption and business impact.
  • Monitor cost-benefit analysis.
  • Drive change management and adoption by coordinating stakeholders, tracking actions, and ensuring new processes and tools are actually embedded into day‑to‑day operations.
  • Act as a bridge between business users, IT, and external vendors or partners.
  • Help teams understand how AI enabled changes will affect their work and decision making.
  • Ensure solutions are pragmatic, maintainable, and aligned with how work is actually performed.
  • Operate with strong informal authority with the ability to influence, follow up, and create momentum across teams without direct management responsibility.
  • Ensure all analytical work meets data privacy and compliance standards, and serve as a resource for teams on best practices for responsible data use in AI-driven workflows.
