About The Position

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare is committed to using innovative technology and efficient systems to improve organizational operations and support the delivery of quality behavioral healthcare services. We are seeking an AI Automation Systems Specialist Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting AI, automation, CRM, and technology projects while working alongside experienced team members. The AI Automation Systems Specialist Intern will assist with the development, testing, documentation, and improvement of AI-powered and automated workflows. This internship is designed for students and early-career individuals interested in AI, automation, software development, CRM systems, and emerging technologies. The intern will have opportunities to work on practical projects involving AI tools, GHL, Zoho CRM, low-code/no-code automation, and basic coding under appropriate supervision.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, technology, or software development.
• Basic understanding of coding or scripting; Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or similar is a plus.
• Exposure to AI tools or generative AI platforms.
• Familiarity with GHL, Zoho CRM, or other CRM/automation platforms is a plus.
• Basic understanding of workflows, logic, APIs, webhooks, or system integrations is preferred.
• Ability to learn new technologies and software platforms quickly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be available to intern 10–20 hours per week
• Be available to intern at least three (3) days per week.
• Commit to the internship for a minimum of 3–6 months.
• Be able to work on-site at either our Union, NJ or Cherry Hill, NJ office, based on departmental needs and availability.

• Prior professional experience is not required.
• Demonstrated project experience, coursework, or practical exposure to AI and automation is strongly preferred.
• Candidates are encouraged to provide examples of relevant work, including: AI or automation projects, Coding projects, GHL or Zoho CRM projects, Low-code/no-code automations, AI agents or AI-assisted workflows, API or webhook integrations, Academic or capstone projects, Personal technology projects, GitHub repositories or technology portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building, testing, and maintaining AI-powered and automated workflows.
• Support automation projects using GHL, Zoho CRM, and other approved platforms.
• Assist in identifying repetitive processes and potential automation opportunities.
• Build and modify low-code/no-code workflows using triggers, actions, conditions, and integrations.
• Assist with APIs, webhooks, system integrations, and data workflows.
• Explore and apply AI tools to support business processes and workflow automation.
• Test automation workflows and help identify and troubleshoot errors.
• Document workflows, processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Assist with researching emerging AI, automation, and productivity technologies.
• Support the testing and evaluation of new software, tools, integrations, and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to understand business processes and translate them into technology solutions.
• Participate in assigned AI and automation projects and provide updates on project progress.
