About The Position

The AI Automation Engineer designs and implements AI-driven automation solutions using large language models (LLMs) and platforms such as n8n, Databricks, Claude, Copilot, and Microsoft Foundry. The role builds agentic workflows to improve operational efficiency and decision-making. It reports to the VP of IT and is aligned to the Decision Intelligence / AI function.

The position collaborates with team members and stakeholders to deliver projects according to specifications and deadlines, and monitors the performance, accuracy, and cost of AI workflows. The role is hybrid: the first three days of the week are in the office, with the balance optionally remote. Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in automation, software development, or AI tools.
• Experience with Python or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation or pipeline tools such as Data Factory, n8n, Power Automate, or Zapier.
• Experience with AI/LLM tools or agents such as Copilot, OpenAI, Fabric Studio, or Claude Managed Agents / SDK.
• Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered workflows using tools such as n8n, APIs, and LLM platforms.
• Develop and optimize prompts for reliable outputs and agent behavior.
• Orchestrate multi-step AI agents across systems, including email, CRM, and data platforms.
• Integrate enterprise systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation frameworks.
• Implement human-in-the-loop controls and AI governance guardrails.
• Prototype high-impact use cases and scale them into production solutions.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver projects in line with specifications and deadlines.
• Monitor the performance, accuracy, and cost of AI workflows.
