About The Position

This is an entry-level role built for someone starting their career who's part engineer, part developer, and all-in on AI. You'll learn to design and build automations that eliminate repetitive work, reduce ticket noise, and make MSP teams dramatically more productive. This isn't a "keep the lights on" role — it's a "build cool things that make people's jobs better" role. You don't need years of experience. You need strong fundamentals, a builder's mindset, and genuine excitement about what's possible with LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted tooling. We'll teach you the MSP world; you bring the curiosity and drive to learn at the edge of the AI world while shipping practical solutions every week. This position is fully onsite at our Altamonte Springs, FL office, where you'll work side-by-side with experienced engineers and consultants who will mentor you as you grow.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate (or up to 1 year of professional experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on skills from bootcamps, certifications, or self-teaching
  • Foundational scripting or programming skills in at least one language — PowerShell, Python, C#, or JavaScript (we'll help you level up the rest)
  • Basic familiarity with SQL and working with data
  • Some exposure to REST APIs and JSON — coursework, internships, or personal projects all count
  • Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for AI — you've experimented with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI coding tools, and you want to go much deeper
  • A builder's mindset: you see a tedious manual process and instinctively start thinking about how to automate it
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts and the discipline to document what you build
  • Clear communication skills and eagerness to learn from feedback
  • Ability to work onsite full-time at our Altamonte Springs, FL office

Nice To Haves

  • Personal projects, hackathon builds, or a GitHub portfolio that shows what you can do
  • Internship or help desk / IT support experience
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) or AI agent frameworks
  • Exposure to workflow/integration tools (Power Automate, n8n, Zapier)
  • Basic understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, or networking fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Git and version control

Responsibilities

  • Learn to design, build, and maintain automations across RMM and PSA platforms (ConnectWise Automate, Datto RMM, NinjaOne, Kaseya VSA, HaloPSA, and similar tools)
  • Write scripts and small applications in PowerShell, Python, SQL, and/or C# that solve real operational problems
  • Integrate systems via REST APIs and webhooks to connect tools, sync data, and eliminate manual handoffs
  • Help prototype AI-powered workflows — think intelligent ticket triage, LLM-assisted documentation, automated alert enrichment, and internal copilots
  • Identify high-friction, repetitive processes across our teams and partners, then automate them out of existence
  • Test, document, and version your work so it's reliable, repeatable, and easy for others to build on
  • Collaborate with consultants, NOC engineers, and partners to understand pain points and translate them into technical solutions
  • Stay current on the AI/automation landscape and bring new ideas, tools, and techniques back to the team
