About The Position

As an AI Automation Builder at SIXT, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how fleet strategy decisions are executed across the U.S. business. Reporting into Fleet Strategy leadership and collaborating closely with Revenue Management and Technology teams, you will design and deploy data-driven solutions that convert complex operational processes into scalable, intelligent automation. Unlike traditional analytics roles, you will build solutions that operate directly inside real business workflows, not static dashboards or isolated prototypes. You will have high autonomy and direct exposure to fleet strategy decision-making, helping shape how data and AI tools fit into how fleet teams work day to day. This role is designed for builders who deploy intelligent systems, automate complex thinking, and prefer creating working solutions over maintaining traditional reporting structures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in a technical, quantitative, or analytical field
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Solid understanding of how to design workflows and applications (databases, APIs, Git)
  • Comfortable using modern AI tools as part of your everyday toolkit to build internal tools, lightweight apps, and automations beyond traditional analytics
  • Ability to translate easily between business and technical contexts, sitting with fleet, revenue management, or operations partners and coming back with something that solves the problem
  • Demonstrate the ability to take ideas from concept → build → deployment → iteration with minimal oversight and a strong bias toward execution

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy data-driven automation that transforms fleet strategy workflows into scalable decision-support tools
  • Translate complex business logic into working solutions using SQL, Python, cloud services (AWS), and modern AI tools
  • Design integrations that connect operational data, analytical models, and decision logic into real-time tools fleet teams actually use
  • Rapidly prototype and ship workflows, prioritizing practical business outcomes over theoretical design
  • Own deployed solutions end-to-end, monitoring performance, validating outputs, and continuously refining them as fleet strategy needs evolve
  • Identify high-impact opportunities where AI can eliminate manual analysis and elevate how fleet decisions are made across the organization
