AI & Automation Administrator
About The Position
James Madison University (JMU) Information Technology is hiring two AI and Automation Administrators to work within the AI, Collaboration, and Web Services team. These positions will be handling administrative functions, technical functions, reporting, analysis, and user-support activities for AI technologies and automation workflows used on campus. This includes management and support activities for the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the nebulaONE AI Gateway platform. The position will also provide extra support coverage for other platforms managed by the department such as Zoom, Cascade CMS, and the full M365 suite of applications.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience supporting larger software platforms such as Microsoft 365, Zoom, nebulaONE, and Cascade.
- Experience supporting advanced software and system components such as AI agents, workflows, and custom apps.
- Demonstrated technical ability to learn, configure, and troubleshoot software and systems.
- Demonstrated analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
