About The Position

James Madison University (JMU) Information Technology is seeking two AI and Automation Administrators to join the AI, Collaboration, and Web Services team. These roles will be responsible for administrative, technical, reporting, analysis, and user-support functions for AI technologies and automation workflows utilized across the campus. Key responsibilities include managing and supporting the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the nebulaONE AI Gateway platform. Additionally, the positions will offer supplementary support for other departmental platforms such as Zoom, Cascade CMS, and the broader Microsoft 365 suite.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience supporting larger software platforms such as Microsoft 365, Zoom, nebulaONE, and Cascade.
Experience supporting advanced software and system components such as AI agents, workflows, and custom apps.
Demonstrated technical ability to learn, configure, and troubleshoot software and systems.
Demonstrated analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Handling administrative functions for AI technologies and automation workflows.
Performing technical functions for AI technologies and automation workflows.
Conducting reporting and analysis for AI technologies and automation workflows.
Providing user-support activities for AI technologies and automation workflows.
Managing and supporting the Microsoft Power Platform.
Managing and supporting Microsoft Copilot.
Managing and supporting Copilot Studio.
Managing and supporting the nebulaONE AI Gateway platform.
Providing extra support coverage for other platforms managed by the department, such as Zoom, Cascade CMS, and the full M365 suite of applications.
