AI Architect

Provectus•Los Angeles, CA

About The Position

Provectus is hiring a hands-on AI Architect to embed with enterprise clients in regulated industries, understand their operational work from the inside, and build and deploy production AI systems. The role involves taking ownership from problem framing through production, working as part of the customer’s team rather than delivering scoped work from the outside. Engagements begin with learning the operator’s constraints, then rebuilding the function from first principles alongside the client and a Forward Deployed Executive. Work includes delivering Cowork Activation, Agentic SDLC, and Blueprint Activations in Financial Services and Healthcare, and helping enterprises adopt AI from strategy through their first deployment. The architect will also help build tools and frameworks for Provectus’s AI delivery practice. Engagements start from Provectus industry Blueprints—working systems already shipped for customers—and field learnings are fed back into those Blueprints. The position is full-time and includes on-site visits to client facilities and the company’s New York City office once per week. Compensation is a base salary of $180,000–$200,000 plus bonuses, with on-target earnings up to $250,000. The company does not offer visa sponsorship.

  • Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Cloud-native delivery experience on AWS, including operational responsibility for systems that others inherit.
  • Pre-sales experience.

  • Contribute field learnings back into Provectus industry Blueprints.
  • Help build tooling and frameworks for the growing AI delivery practice.
