About The Position
Corvid HPC is expanding its AI capability and seeking a high-energy, technically curious AI Applications Engineer to join their team in Mooresville, NC. This entry-level role is at the intersection of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI workflows. It is a collaborative, customer-facing position where the engineer will bridge complex AI models and real-world engineering solutions, working with Aerodynamics, CAE, and Sales teams to deliver impactful results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI workflows through internships, academic research, or a personal portfolio.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
Nice To Haves
- Strong interest or background in Data Science (statistical modeling, data cleaning, visualization).
- Experience with Machine Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
- Familiarity with Web Application development (APIs, UI/UX for tools).
- Knowledge of or interest in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) or general engineering simulation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in-person with Linux Admins and HPC experts to optimize AI workloads on hardware.
- Engage directly with clients to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Machine Learning models and CAE tools.
- Assist in building web applications and interfaces for AI tools.
- Debug ML pipelines and participate in high-level strategy discussions.
