About The Position

We are seeking an AI and Automation Production Intern to join our team in Berwyn, PA. This internship is designed for students with a strong technical foundation who are eager to apply artificial intelligence and automation tools to real world Finance and Accounting initiatives. As an intern, you will work alongside cross functional finance and technology professionals, using AMETEK’s AI and automation platforms to support data driven decision making, improve workflows, and enhance control and reporting processes. This role offers hands on exposure to enterprise scale systems and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to projects that impact financial operations and governance. This internship is ideal for candidates who are analytically minded, technically curious, and interested in applying computer science skills in a business and financial context. You will develop a strong understanding of how AI and automation are used in production environments, while gaining insight into corporate finance functions within a global organization. This is an in-person position.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Basic understanding of AI prompting techniques, automation concepts, and workflow design
• Familiarity with developing tools, scripts, or applications in an academic or project setting using Microsoft CoPilot, ChatGPT and/or Claude
• Ability to comprehend end to end workflows and identify dependencies and risks
• Experience debugging code or resolving issues in development or production environments
• Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
• Curiosity, organization, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of AI enabled and automated solutions for Finance and Accounting departments
• Assist in building, testing, and maintaining automation workflows and analytical tools
• Help document workflows, logic, controls, and production processes
• Analyze data outputs and assist in identifying improvements or efficiencies
• Support debugging and issue resolution within automation scripts, tools, and production processes
• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
