About The Position

JLL is seeking an AI Analyst to join its Government, Education and Non-Profit (GEN) Advisory group. This is a new role focused on building and operating AI infrastructure to support business operations and client work. It is a hybrid role combining real estate advisory and AI practitioner responsibilities, ideal for someone early in their career who is excited about public sector real estate and AI-augmented professional work. The goal is to use AI tools to improve the quality and efficiency of advisory assignments, enabling the team to focus on strategic thinking and complex problem-solving. The AI Analyst will work at the intersection of vision and daily reality, understanding team needs, building tools, and supporting client work directly as a real estate analyst.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Systems Engineer, Urban Planning, Public Policy, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience; internship, academic project, or personal project experience in AI tools, real estate, consulting, or a related area is valued.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI tools, particularly large language models like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar beyond casual use.
Genuine curiosity about AI and how it applies to professional work.
Strong written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with SharePoint or similar platforms.
Analytical aptitude, comfort working with data, building structured outputs, and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
Systems thinking ability.
Collaborative, creative, and low-ego approach.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI workflow design.
Exposure to real estate, government, higher education, or other public sector contexts.
Experience with SharePoint Lists, Power Automate, or similar Microsoft 365 tools.
Coursework or project work in public policy, urban planning, or public finance.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and refine AI-powered workflows for research synthesis, deliverable drafting, proposal coordination, market analysis, and knowledge management.
Develop and maintain a library of prompt templates calibrated to GEN Advisory’s specific work.
Manage the practice’s AI knowledge base, organizing past project materials, methodologies, and reference content for AI platforms.
Identify workflow bottlenecks where AI assistance can have the highest impact, prototype solutions, and gather team feedback.
Support integration between AI, SharePoint, Salesforce, and other practice tools.
Apply AI tools to operations functions such as utilization tracking, assignment pipeline reporting, revenue data synthesis, and team reporting, in coordination with the Director of Operations.
Help build and maintain structured data systems for practice management visibility.
Draft internal communications, process documentation, and onboarding materials with AI assistance.
Monitor AI tool performance and adoption across the team, gathering feedback and iterating on solutions.
Conduct market research, demographic analysis, and comparable transaction research for client engagements.
Assist with financial modeling, development pro formas, lease comparisons, and portfolio cost analyses.
Prepare sections of client presentations, reports, and meeting materials, framing technical findings for executive audiences.
Participate in client meetings and project team working sessions to build understanding of public sector real estate advisory.
Contribute to proposals through research, content development, and coordination support for RFP responses.
