About The Position

- The Host will greet guests with a friendly attitude, quote wait times and escort guests to their table. Handle phone calls and inquiries about the restaurant and menu. Handle all payment processing, including but not limited to cash, credit card and gift card transactions.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card
• Ability to lift/move objects up to 40 pounds
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Effectively communicate with guests and coworkers

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer service
• Prior money handling experience
• Restaurant experience
• Attention to Detail

Responsibilities

• Greet guests
• Track waiting parties
• Strategically seat guests
• Accurately process cash and/or credit payments
• Reset tables
• Present menus to guests
• Clean and organize host desk and dining area
• Restock supplies
• Restroom cleaning and checklist
• Sell and process gift cards
• Other assigned duties
