About The Position

The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and operational support for training programs, including scheduling, student record management, instructor tracking, and course logistics. This position ensures accurate documentation, timely communication, and smooth execution of training activities. The Administrative Assistant assists with the routine cleaning, maintenance, and storage of simulation mannequins used for education and training; supports the coordinator with ordering supplies and equipment as requested; and may perform similar duties for other members of the Clinical Education team and/or Employee Health.

Requirements

  • High School graduate
  • 1-2 years of clerical experience
  • Basic to intermediate computer/software program skills
  • Strong organization and administrative skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Emotional maturity and good people skills
  • Able to take in, process and apply information that is pertinent to the functioning of the training center
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform independently within acceptable standards
  • Able to sit, stand and/or walk for an eight-hour shift
  • Has adequate hearing, vision, speech to complete any necessary daily tasks
  • General health must be such as to regularly work scheduled hours
  • Must be able to bend and lift 25-50 pounds
  • Must be able to work with employees, patients and visitors of the Hospital
  • Will be exposed to certain chemicals included in the hospital approved cleaning products
  • Low potential for exposure to blood/body fluids
