(Pool) Part-Time AHA BLS Instructor

About The Position
The College is seeking qualified Adjunct AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructors to provide instruction on an as-needed basis. This position supports workforce development and community training initiatives by delivering high-quality BLS courses in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines.
Requirements
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor certification in good standing
- Certification preferably aligned with South Regional AHEC, or willingness to complete secondary alignment
- Knowledge of current American Heart Association BLS standards and course requirements
- Strong instructional and communication skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Deliver AHA BLS Provider courses in accordance with established guidelines.
- Facilitate skills practice, testing, and written evaluations
- Maintain accurate course records and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper setup, use, and maintenance of instructional equipment
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
