Lead a team of material handlers of the shift for safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials throughout the facility, including Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) operations, recycling, and inventory control. Ensures uninterrupted material flow to production, maintains workplace organization standards, and enforces safety, and quality of logistical transactions. Carries out duties required by the direct supervisor and/or Manager of Supply Chain in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including training, assigning work, and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Leaders are expected to create a safe work environment through implementation and commitment to the Safety & Health - Vision, Values and Mission and the Safety Principles of Conduct. Promote safety by following company and site safety policies and procedures, responding to safety non-conformance by coaching to correct behaviors and encouraging and supporting employees by attending employee safety meetings and recognition of safe behaviors. All employees are expected to always act in a safe manner and ensure that those around them do not put themselves or others at risk.
